A water filteration plant provides safe water for thousands of vulnerable people
85% of the population in Pakistan does not have access to clean water.
Many families must travel miles to collect water that is contaminated, and unsafe, and entire communities can suffer from waterborne diseases.
SKT Welfare is delivering water purification plants across some of Pakistan’s most impoverished rural communities. Our plants have the capacity to filter gallons of water every day and are providing safe, fresh water from a source close to home and significantly reducing diseases, such as diarrhoea, cholera, dysentery, hepatitis A and typhoid.
One water filteration plant provides safe water for thousands of vulnerable people daily, it costs £10,000 to build a sustainable source of clean water and save thousands of lives.
