IT'S TIME TO COME HOME
Since March 2011, Syria has been a land of shattered dreams and broken hearts. The relentless conflict has scarred its cities, devastated its landscapes, and uprooted millions of lives. Over six million Syrians have been forced to leave their homeland, their footsteps heavy with the weight of loss and longing. Within Syria's borders, 5.5 million souls remain displaced, searching for a semblance of stability amidst the rubble of their once-thriving communities.
Seventeen million people—mothers, fathers, children—still cling to aid as their lifeline, struggling to survive in a reality where 90 percent of the population has been cast into the depths of poverty. These are not just numbers; they are faces of resilience, eyes filled with memories of a brighter past and questions about an uncertain future.
Amid the despair, a glimmer of hope flickers. Thousands of Syrian refugees, yearning for home, are retracing their steps. Over 250,000 have returned in just the past week, 100,000 of them crossing borders to embrace their homeland once again. But their return is fraught with uncertainty. As they step into the echoes of familiar streets, they ask: "Will home be safe? Will home be kind?"
Each return carries the weight of a dream—to rebuild, to heal, to find peace where there was once only war. For Syria, the road to recovery is long, but it begins with these brave steps of hope.
For £1,500, you can rebuild a secure, sustainable 2-bedroom home for a vulnerable family in Syria.
