During this time of year, the weather forecasts generally tend to predict snow, icy conditions and blizzards. But how many of us stop to say Alhamdulilah (Praise be to God) or show any kind of gratitude?
Alhamdulilah for the clothes that keep us warm. Alhamdulilah for the houses that keep us out of the cold. Alhamdulilah for the warm running water, heating, hot food and drinks.
Not everyone has this luxury.
Our brothers and sisters in Rayhanli need our help. There are currently millions of displaced Syrian families living in makeshift camps who will face extreme conditions this winter. With many at risk of freezing to death.
A team (including the 3 of us) will be travelling to provide food, donations and packages to those in need insha’Allah (God willing). Your donation will make a difference!
£50 provides food for a whole family
AND
£250 provides food, clothes, education and warm shelter for an orphan for a whole year.
Remember The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said “Giving Sadaqah (charity) does not in any way decrease your wealth” (Source: Al Bukhari and Muslim).
Please give as little or as much as you can! Whether you donate a pound or share this link with your family and friends. Either way it counts as Sadaqah and you will be rewarded in this life and in the Akhirah (afterlife) too, insha’Allah.
