This ramadan I have decided to raise money for SKT Welfare, for their Gaza Hot meals project. 

How lucky are we, and how much do we take for granted the ability to have warm and nutritious meals whenever we want. Our biggest issues are debating with friends over which restaurant to eat at, whereas our poor, injured and starving brothers and sisters in Gaza are debating over where and when their next hot meal will come from!!! We can change that!! For 3000 people!!! Insha'Allah. 

I am aiming to raise £1,100.00, which will provide meals for 3000 people in Gaza. SKT have their own kitchens already set up, allowing for the meals to reach the people who need them the most.

Below is some information from SKT explaining the Gaza Hot meals project;

Food insecurity in Gaza has reached critical levels, with thousands of families struggling to access food due to conflict, displacement, and severe aid restrictions. For many, hunger is not just a hardship—it is a daily fight for survival.

Since 2024, SKT Welfare’s mobile kitchens have been a vital source of nourishment, preparing and distributing 1,700 – 2,000 fresh meals daily to those most in need. This initiative ensures that orphans, displaced families, and the elderly have access to nutritious food.

Your donation can help us provide:

• Daily hot meals for families facing extreme hunger
• Nutritional support for orphaned children
• Assistance for elderly and vulnerable individuals with no access to food

With food supplies entering Gaza severely limited, community kitchens like ours have become essential lifelines.
