Having recently visited the Jadraya Camp that is situated close on the Türkiye/Syria border, it was shocking to see the conditions Syrian refugee families have been living in for the past 10 years. The lack of adequate shelter and warmth is something that families living there are in desperate need of.

The following months are some of the coldest for many of the deprived communities around the world, where temperatures drop below sub-zero, and this is accompanied with heavy snowfall in many cases. The merciless cold of winter, penetrating their tents, their clothes, and their very bones, becomes a hurdle almost too much to bear, and becomes the cause of declining health, resistance to disease, and even death. 

Donations raised from this page will go directly to families living in the camp to ensure those in need receive adequate warmth, protection, and safety through the devastating winter months. You can provide families with all the necessities they need to keep warm and this winter by donating towards a winter bundle.  

The goal is to provide 25 families living in the camp with Winter Bundle to keep them warm throughout the winter months.

£18 - Can provide a family with two single mattresses

£19 - Can provide a family with one single and one double blanket

£335 - Can provide a family with a Winter Bundle consisting of all the above
