I was a part of a group of volunteers with SKT Welfare who, in early October of this year, were deployed to Türkiye to pack and deliver food parcels to distribute to villages, orphanages, homes, and medical centres consisting of Syrian refugees.
One of our visits was to the Alkhair Cancer Centre that cares for women with different types of cancer and to varying degrees. During our visit we noticed that the Centre and patients needed much support in terms of running costs of the Centre, providing transport for patients to and from the hospital, medication, and medical assessment as well as adult nappies.
As a group of volunteers, we really want to help the patients and the Centre to continue to operate and therefore have decided to raise essential funds for it.
With your donations:
£20 - Can provide 1 patient transport to and back from the Centre
£70 - Can provide nappies for a patient for a week
£200 - Can provide medication for a patient for a month
£380 - Can provide a patient with much-needed medical assessment
Please donate generously and may Allaah reward you for your efforts.
SKT Welfare has a 100% donation policy and this project is both zakat and sadaqah applicable.
