Due to over 10 years of brutal war, Syria's agricultural industry has collapsed and caused food prices to skyrocket well above what most people can afford. Many impoverished families simply don’t have the funds to buy enough food for the whole family to have a nutritious, balanced diet.
The children of Syria are faced with malnutrition and hunger on a daily basis, with an estimated 2 million children not getting enough to eat. You can help alleviate their suffering by donating a food pack filled with nutritious items.
A donation of £50 this Ramadan will provide a family in Syria with a food pack that will keep them fed for an entire month.
If we reach our £4,000 target, Gamze and I will have the incredible opportunity to personally travel to Syria and take part in the deployment. We will be on the ground, distributing the very food packs funded by this fundraiser, ensuring that your donations reach those in need directly.
