In October this year I intend to volunteer and travel to Reyhanli, Turkey with SKT Welfare. During our trip we will be packing and distributing food parcels to refugee camps/homes as well as visiting healthcare centres and orphanages to deliver aid and support.

Fundraising Cause:

Since the start of the Syria crisis in 2011, over 3.5 million Syrian refugees fled to Turkey, with many of these being children. Many families left their homes with no belongings except the clothes on their backs, desperately searching for help. Over the years, they have experienced unparalleled levels of trauma and continue to experience tremendous grief and alienation, while thousands of refugee children are out of school.

With the ongoing conflict and aftermath from the devastating earthquake in February 2023, which claimed over 50,000 lives and affected over 8 million people, this number continues to rise and more aid and support is needed.

With the help of your donations, together we can try and alleviate some of their pain and suffering. 

Please note SKT Welfare operates with a 100% donation policy, so you can be assured that every penny of your donation will be going directly to those in need. No money from donations will go towards any costs for this trip to and from Reyhanli, Turkey.
