Bismillah

InshaAllah I will be travelling to Reyhanli, Turkey in October where I will be working with STK by providing much needed aid to Syrian refugees who continue to be displaced especially since last years earthquake. As you know I’m an advocate for refugees and by the grace of Allah I have been granted an opportunity to work with them directly. 

Over a decade Syria has experienced civil unrest and over 3.5 million refugees fled to Turkey this includes children. People left with very little belongings for safety and to date have not been able to return to their homeland as the war continues.

The fundraising will provide much needed aid to distribute food parcels and spend time with families and children. Help them rebuild their lives and look at ways to become self sufficient.

For my Muslim family and friends this is zakat permissible, and I will be personally be distributing your zakat to those who are in greater need via the aid. May Allah accept our zakat and intentions.  Please keep me in your duas (prayers) that this is successful.

For my non Muslim friends I will be walking the Dover coastline in July to help with the fundraising. 

Please give generously and give what you can as your donation will go a long way and will help to change someone life.  If there is gift aid option please do consider gift aid as every penny counts.

My fundraising target is £2,000 however I would love to raise more. No money from your donations will cover my travel costs as that I will be covering them myself.
