Assalamu Alaikum,

It's been over 10 years since the uprising started in Syria, due to the war over 13 million have had to flee Syria which is almost half of its population, and as you know many of the refugees are living in uninhabitable conditions. I had the opportunity in 2018 to visit one of the refugee camps on the border of Syria in Turkey, and from seeing families living in tents to children telling me about their journeys and what they are dreaming to become, it was an eye-opening experience. I have been blessed to go back to the refugee camps again this winter and provide aid, food, clothes and the essentials any human needs for survival, especially in the cold winter months. 

I will be participating in a 10k run on Sunday 13th of February, all the donations I will be raising will go to the aid I will be packaging and delivering out on the ground in the Syrian refugee camps in Turkey.

 I will be paying for my own flights/accommodation making sure all your donations will get to those in need and I will be filming the process on my social media pages.
