As-salamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh/ Greetings 

The constant bombing and the dire humanitarian crisis continues over a year on. 

Alhamdulillah (All praise to God), I have been given the opportunity to travel to Palestine/Syrian camps in Jordan. With a dedicated team, in’shaa’Allah (God willing) we will travel to the camps for Ramadan 2025. The mission is to ensure that aid reaches the most vulnerable individuals and families, who have been displaced through the war, providing them with much-needed relief and support during this spiritually significant month. I will also be part of an aid mission to load trucks with food parcels going into Gaza from Jordan.

I remember few years ago, a brother was raising money in the month of Ramadan. The one thing that has always stuck with me was what he said “Charity does not depreciate your wealth”.

“He who feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward”

Each food parcel costs just £50 and will feed a family of 4 for the WHOLE month of Ramadan, both suhoor and iftar.

Essential hygiene products will be distributed to promote health and well-being in the camps. These kits play a crucial role in maintaining dignity and preventing disease.

Fresh fruit, including dates, will be provided to ensure families have access to vital nutrients. Dates hold cultural and religious significance, especially during Ramadan.

Zakat cash will be given to the most needy individuals, allowing them the flexibility to address their unique needs. This empowers recipients to make decisions that best suit their circumstances.

Allow Ramadan to bring us closer as an Ummah and fulfil our duties towards mankind. Donations are zakat, sadaqah applicable and SKT have a 100% donation policy.

May Allah (God) reward you for your generosity and ease the suffering around the world. May all your prayers and duas be accepted. Allahumma Ameen.

All expenses, including flights, travel, accommodation, and meals are paid by myself and not from the donations. This ensures that all funds raised are exclusively used for the benefit of the refugees.
