Ramadan 2025: Food Parcels for Gaza and Refugee Camps

This Ramadan (Feb 2025), I will be travelling to Jordan to distribute essential aid to Palestinian and Syrian refugees living in Gaza and Palestinian/Syrian refugee camps. The hope is to alleviate some of the hardships faced by our brothers and sisters during these challenging times.

My Motivation

The difficulties faced by families on a daily basis has had a considerable impact on me. I feel a sense of duty as a mother and human being to do whatever I can, however I can, to help.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart and this charity provides me with the opportunity to help that would have a positive impact at alleviating suffering and fostering hope through delivering much needed aid.

I hope that by taking part and my time and effort to support them in their time of need, I can amplify their voices and share their stories with the world about the challenges they face, encouraging others to rise and take action.

On a more personal level, I believe this will be a humbling and enlightening experience, challenging me spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally, and pushing me to my limits.

The Mission

As part of a team, I will deliver aid to the most vulnerable individuals and families, with your support we aim to provide:

• Food Parcels: A £50 food parcel can sustain a family of 5 throughout Ramadan, providing culturally appropriate and nutritious staples.
• Hygiene Kits: Essential hygiene products to promote health and dignity within the camps.
• Fresh Fruits, including dates: Ensuring access to vital nutrients and honouring the cultural and religious significance of dates.
• Zakat Cash: Direct financial assistance for the neediest, empowering them to address their unique needs.

100% Donation Policy

• Every penny of your donation will go directly to the refugees.
• All expenses related to the team’s travel, accommodation, and meals are self-funded.
