At SKT Welfare, we have a stringent 100% donation policy, where every penny donated goes directly to those most in need. Donations are only used for making the work possible and serving those most in need. This means we use them to cover the cost of materials, transportation or anything else which makes the delivery of the project possible. We do not cover any overhead costs from the donations we receive directly from our supporters. In order to cover our own costs, we use GiftAid, or direct donations from people like yourself.
It is very important to us to maintain our 100% donation policy so we are able to truly serve those in need. As an organisation, we have a range of costs in order to maintain our work including general overhead costs like rent, utility bills and transport.
By donating directly to our Admin costs fund, you will help us maintain a high quality of service, while serving those most in need with integrity and continuing to maintain our 100% donation policy.
Our projects focus on emergency relief, food, water, healthcare, education, orphan care and seasonal aid, such as winter emergency response and Qurbani donations. We serve some of the most vulnerable people in the world; those affected - through no fault of their own - by conflict, poverty and natural disasters.
