SKT Welfare's sponsorship programme provides Syrian children who have been orphaned as a result of the crisis with a new beginning in a safe environment. They are housed in SKT Welfare's Springs of Hope Family Centre. The purpose of the centre is to provide these families with the most holistic form of care possible. The centre is based in Reyhanli, a small Turkish town near the border with Syria. The centre consists of self-contained lodgings for the widows and children, a canteen, prayer facilities, and play areas. SKT Welfare is providing food, clothing, education, extracurricular activities such as art, drama, singing, and self-defense, to all the children. We have even created employment opportunities within the centre for Syrians in need.
Our donors receive feedback on their contribution in the form of a quarterly newsletter with exciting new updates every time. Your contribution not only covers the orphans' care but also their mothers/carers who have been bereaved of their husbands during wartime.
You can support our orphans by donating £20 or more per month.
